An Activity of the Global Wildland Fire Network
The Network: A Joint Effort between the Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC), the Regional Fire Management Resource Center – South East Asia (RFMRC-SEA) and the Global Environment Center (GEC)
Through the International Peatland Fire Network synergies are developed between the Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC), the Regional Fire Management Resource Center – South East Asia (RFMRC-SEA) and the Global Environment Centre (GEC). These institutions are aiming at the protection of the world’s peatlands and other wetlands against the destruction by fire and other disturbances.
