Argentina: Combustion Risk Index and Convectivity Index
The National Meteorological Service,provides a daily index of fire danger.
http://www.smn.gov.ar/?mod=dpd&id=4 determines the meteorological conditions that influence the initiation and propagation of wildland fires. The required meteorological data (temperature, relative humidity, wind and precipitation at 18:00 UTC) are collected by a synoptic network of stations. Five risk classes are provided:
bajo = low (green) moderado = moderate (yellow) alto = high (orange) muy alto = very high (ochre) extremo = extreme (red)
